Yes, you have just clicked on to Rhuddlan Local History Society's website. The society was set up in 2008 because we didn't have one and there was a demand for one. The idea was for members to enjoy finding out more about the history of Rhuddlan, for example, what was it like 100 years ago, how was their education, how did they earn their living, what was their housing like, if they became ill what was the medication that was available and so much more.

The society is managed by a committee of between 6 and 9 members who are elected for a 3 year term. The committee arranges for speakers to attend our meetings to talk about topics which we consider would be relevant and interesting to our history group. We also have film shows allowing people to see how it was here.

The evening is rounded off with tea/coffee and biscuits, a chat and laugh. What a wonderful way to spend an evening!
